Astoria

The Pacific Fur Company establishment at Astoria (later Fort George) at the mouth of the Columbia River in 1845 (painting by Henry Warre, Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies), Astoria log yard in the early 1900s (Benjamin Gifford, Oregon Historical Society Gi-1657), and  approximately the same scene in 2016 (CW-2016-04-16-0793).
