Fort Langley

Fort Langley on the Fraser River in 1862 (Frederick Daly, British Columbia Archives A-04313) and in 2012 (CW- 04-28-092). The Canadian National Railroad was built through the riverside section of the fort in 1912, and destroyed the front bastion. Today, Parks Canada has restored and manages the remainder of the trading post (hidden behind the forest on the upper right) as a national historic site.
