Independence Rock on the Oregon Trail in 1870 (William Henry Jackson, US Geological Survey National Archives and Records Administration 17-0303m(1)) and in 2014 (CW-2014-09-15-1582).

As sometimes happens, after doing the processing I can see that the repeat photograph isn’t taken in the right spot. It should be moved back from the rock another 100 meters or so to line up the background ridges.
