Wasatch Mountains in the Salt Lake Valley in 1880s (William Henry Jackson, USGS-jwh00147), in the 1930s (USGS-wrr00305), and the corner of Highland Drive and Big Cottonwood Road in Salt Lake City in 2016 (CW-2016-04-20-1099). It was certainly a “Hope for the Best” situation while working with my dog rephotographing this busy junction. Fortunately, Walter was a veteran of many challenging situations.
