Osoyoos Lake from Mt. Krueger in 1918 (Surveys Branch Photograph, BC Archives I-64599) and in 2009 (Mountain Legacy Project, A0002844, University of Victoria).

The fur trade`s horse brigades from Fort Okanogan northwards to Kamloops passed along trails along either side of Lake Osoyoos. In 1846 the international boundary between Canada and United States was established along the 49th parallel passing across the right background of the photograph.
