Canyon on the Columbia River north of Revelstoke in 1904 (Photographer undetermined, BC Archives-B-01947) and the Revelstoke Dam in 2012 (CW-2012-10-04-21) The point of the repeat photograph has been moved down-valley and upslope to due to security fencing around the dam. David Thompson mapped this section of the Columbia River in August and September, 1811.
