In 1970, paddled there is a canvas cedar canoe with my brother David Roberts who had squatted years before on North Rendezvous Island. it was a amazing to see the children on the raised walkways handing over the shoreline. I went to the small seemly empty church and played on a a pump organ. The children followed me and my log-haired brother. It was a page out of the past . joseph@commonground.ca
That Desolation Sound country is amazing…. sailing or cruising around every bend makes you think about how people lived there for thousands of years. cw
