The Kicking Horse River at Golden in 1883 (George Dawson, Geological Survey of Canada, GMD 83-90) and in 2015 (CW-2015-05-21-3615). The river’s channel to its confluence with the Columbia River now runs through a rock-reinforced diked channel about 400 meters to the north.
