Banff Indian Days about 1920 (Byron Harmon, WMCR-NA-71-3228), and tipis, participants, and visitors  at the Stoney/Nakoda signing of the Northern Tribes Buffalo Treaty on August 13, 2015.  The treaty will ensure First Nations’ participation and the guidance of traditional knowledge in the restoration of wild bison to many natural areas, parks and wilderness areas across Canada and United States.

This was a momentous day for the Stoney Nakoda First Nation, Banff National Park and all Canadians that care about our cultural and ecological heritage.
